QUESTION 14
On average, how many congregational songs are included in your most attended worship service PRIOR to the sermon/message?
Analysis
A general agreement exists concerning the number of songs to include in a worship service. A noteworthy 91.73% of churches have 3, 4, or 5. Also notable: almost half (47.74%) have 4.
Six or seven songs is quite a rare choice. I would offer a hypothesis that a large portion of the churches who consider their worship services to be neo-liturgical/historical are the same churches who incorporate six or seven songs in their worship services.
